Desktop companion
A native power layer around your dashboard — not a second UI.
The desktop app loads the same dashboard you use in the browser. Around it: native features the browser cannot do — tray status, global AI hotkey, file companion, route-aware notifications, offline fallback and auto-update.
Tray status badge
Live online / degraded / offline status in the system tray with unread count. Reload, retry connection, ask Ottili AI or quit from the tray.
Global AI hotkey
Press Ctrl/Cmd+Space anywhere to open the Ottili AI Quick Assistant overlay. It sends the current dashboard route and selected text as context — no fabricating replies, real Unified API calls.
File companion
Native file picker, folder watchers and a real multipart upload queue with retry and progress. Upload invoices, screenshots and documents directly from your desktop.
Route-aware notifications
AI approvals, business tasks, server-down and module-issue alerts as native notifications. Click opens the exact dashboard route. Quiet hours with critical bypass.
Offline fallback
If the dashboard is unreachable, a native error page shows retry, status page link and diagnostics export. No blank window, no silent failure.
Auto-update
electron-updater with stable / beta / internal channels. Download in background, install on restart. Channel and auto-update toggle persisted per device.
Typed desktop bridge
11 typed namespaces (app, window, notifications, files, clipboard, system, deepLinks, logs, ai, update, device). Sandboxed: contextIsolation + sandbox, no Node.js in renderer.
