Ottili AI is metered through company-wide credits — not per seat. Here is exactly how the credit model works, anchored to real provider cost, without exposing internal margins.

Credits live in one company wallet and are shared across every member and workspace in your company. They are not per-seat — you buy a pool, not a license per person.

Wallets recharge automatically when they fall below your threshold, or you top up manually. You are never charged without explicit confirmation.
Caps
Every company sets hard monthly credit caps. Workspaces can have their own sub-caps. Caps stop usage at the limit — no surprise overage.
Usage visibility
Admins see live balance, remaining credits, a per-surface breakdown (chat, Coder, DWE and more) and a rolling history in the dashboard.

Each model tier carries its own public credit weight. The efficient tier is the lightest; the premium tier is heavier; the adaptive router follows the model it selects.
Surface multiplier
Published surface multiplier (baseline → elevated)
The surface you run on applies a published multiplier. AI chat is the baseline; Ottili Coder runs and DWE orchestration apply a higher published multiplier because they consume more compute.
Safety multiplier

Operations that need a higher safety level — external actions, approvals, writes — apply a published safety multiplier. Higher-assurance work costs more credits, by design.
