Create an Ottili account

Overview

This article explains how to create an Ottili account — from sign-up through email verification to creating or joining your first company. All account, login, and verification flows run through the Ottili ONE dashboard at [dashboard.ottili.one](https://dashboard.ottili.one). The public website (ottili.one) points to it for every authentication step.

Ottili ONE follows the principle one login, one company, one dashboard*: your account is your identity, your company is the tenant where your data, modules, and integrations live. An account on its own is not enough — only with a company does the platform become usable.

Feature note:* Which additional sign-in methods are available (for example Google/Microsoft OAuth, passkeys, multi-factor) depends on your workspace configuration. Where a method is described here, it is treated as available as long as your workspace has enabled it. What the Live, Beta, Private Beta, In Development, Planned, and Concept status labels mean is explained in [Understand feature-status labels](/docs/understand-feature-status-labels).

Before you start

Before you begin, make sure the following are true:

• You have a valid email address you control (the verification email is sent there).
• Your inbox (and spam folder) can receive mail from no-reply@ottili.one.
• Cookies and local storage are enabled for dashboard.ottili.one in your browser.

Create your account

Account registration is a Live core feature* of Ottili ONE. To create your account:

1. Open [dashboard.ottili.one/signup](https://dashboard.ottili.one/signup).

2. Enter your email address.

3. Create a password (minimum 8 characters*).

4. Confirm your entries and submit the form.

Once the registration succeeds, a verification record is created for your email address and the verification email is sent. Your account exists from that moment, but it is not fully unlocked until the email is confirmed.

Email verification (required)

Email verification is required for full platform access and is a Live core feature*.

1. Check your inbox for a message from no-reply@ottili.one.

2. Click the verification link to confirm your address with a single click.

3. After the click your account is verified (is_verified is set to true) and access is unlocked.

Important details:

• The verification link expires after 24 hours* (default setting). An expired link leads to an error — in that case simply request a new link.
• No email arriving? Check your spam folder, make sure the address you registered with is correct, and add no-reply@ottili.one to your contacts.
• If your session reaches the dashboard before the email is confirmed, you may see a verification prompt with a Resend verification email* action.

Complete your profile and create a company

After verification you complete your personal profile and create your first company (or join an existing one):

1. Provide your name and role.

2. Create a company (you give it a company name*) or accept an invitation from an administrator.

3. Your company becomes the workspace for your modules, data, integrations, and team.

Every action in Ottili ONE happens inside a company context* — your company is the tenant boundary that isolates your data. How to manage companies, profiles, members, and roles is covered in [Company and Team](/docs/company-and-team).

Sign-in methods you may see later

Registration uses email and password — that is the base method and is available everywhere. Additional methods may be offered depending on your workspace configuration:

• Ottili Auth (your own account)* — the base method with email and password.
• Google / Microsoft OAuth* — links your existing account with a provider; available when enabled.
• Passkeys / Multi-factor (MFA)* — device-bound or extra security steps; available when configured.

Because availability depends on workspace configuration, individual methods carry different status labels (Live, Beta, Private Beta, In Development, Planned, Concept). Every company starts on Free Forever* (€0): it includes the core dashboard, Business Hub basics, Ottili AI and Ottili Flows with a limited usage allowance.
